Sticky pork ribs 😋😋😋
These ribs disappeared so fast in my house, I had to question if I had even had any.
This is the perfect dish to use in your meal prep because the longer it sits, the better it gets!
Here are a few ingredients to make your own version.
Ingredients:
- pork ribs
- Olive oil
- sliced ginger
- smashed garlic
- chili flakes
- chili peppers 🌶
- peppercorns
- star anise
- honey
- soy sauce
- Japanese vinegar
- Rice wine or dry sherry
- Green onions
- cilantro
1) Season your ribs with salt and pepper, get you pan nice and hot then add olive oil, carmelize the ribs on both sides. Make sure they have some color on them.
2) Add in the sliced ginger, garlic, chili flakes, red chili, peppercorns, star anise to the pan and let them cook for a min or 2. Drizzle some honey over the top of the ribs, then add in your soy sauce, Japanese vinegar, and rice wine.
3)Bring to a boil then cook in the oven for 30 min on 275 degrees. Turning them constantly. Broil for the last couple of seconds then take out the oven and cool for 15 min.
4)garnish with diced green onions and cilantro, and serve with your choice of sides, or just eat it by itself. Either way....
